This 2.5 hours Post-Rock and Ambient masterpiece is definitely obscure. While Natural Snow Buildings is a well-known name in the genre, this particular album is not. NSB are generally known for ‘The Dance of the Moon and Sun’ and ‘Shadow Kingdom’, while albums like ‘The Winter Ray’ are simply ignored. For me, it’s easily the best in their discography and worth checking out. The highlights of this album are highlights of their entire career.
